Pencil, Pen, or Keypad

My first entry to the blog, and I'm already intimidated. The pressure to be witty, informative, lyrical, and genius is immense. As an English teacher, I feel I must live up to all that I spew in front of the class, but realize that is much to which I must aspire. Already, I'm rearranging sentences to avoid ending with prepositions. Ugh. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle the daily life of a middle school English teacher. While not glamourous, it is (I think) interesting to a few of whom I don't get to talk to much becuase I'm duct taped to my desk grading papers.

I also want to see how long it takes for a stranger to read my blog, become inspired, forward it to a Hollywood big-wig, approach me to turn my ramblings into a television show, and become famous. Right now, I'm betting on six months. :)
